Before you buy

Pickup is only at an airport counter in Korea. It cannot be activated in Japan or before you land.
Your plan starts when the voucher is exchanged for the SIM at the counter — not at the time of purchase.
Korean law requires real-name registration. Only the person named can collect the SIM — they must show a matching passport in person.
Outgoing calls and SMS need a top-up in Korea (incoming calls and SMS are free). You can top up right at the LG U+ airport counter.
The voucher is valid for 60 days from issue.
There is no pickup counter at Jeju.
Data speeds may be managed during periods of heavy congestion.

Outgoing rates (as of Sep 2026): domestic calls ₩264/min, SMS ₩55 each; international calls vary by country (about ₩937/min to Japan). Latest rates: the LG U+ official site.
